Results and Photo's World Final

We went to Coventry and Northampton last weekend. We received on Friday the new golden spoilers and afterwards we raced at Coventry. Gary Finished 9th and 5th. Gary didn't finish the final, he was already 3rd but he was involved with an accident.

There was a time practice for the overseas drivers on Saturday afternoon. The World Final took place at Saturday night and Gary started from the 9th row. Gary was involved with a hugh crash in turn 1 & 2 and hat to change 3 wheels before he could restart. After the restart Gary was involved again with a crash and didn't finish the World Final.

Because he didn't finish the World Final he had to race the consilation. Gary raced good but lost al lot of time because off an accident with John Lund and wasn't qualified for the final. The team decided to pre-pare the car for the Sunday at Northampton.

We left to Northampton on Sunday morning. Gary finished 6th in the 1st heat and he was directly qualified for the final. We changed the setup before the final and we hoped Gary would be faster in the final. Unfortunately Gary was not faster and finished 11th. Gary didn't finish the Grand National and ended the weekend in the wall.

After the races we had a BBQ with all the fans wich we would like to thank for their support. After the BBQ we finished the weekend in the hotel bar.

GARY WINS THE WORLD CUP 2010

The world cup race was on Sunday 15th July. On this day we could also score the last points for the World Final next month in Coventry.

The team checked the car and replaced some parts on Saturday night ans Sunday morning.

Gary started the World cup from the first row, outside. Wobbes started from the inside at the first row. Gary took the lead after the start and drove away from the other drivers. A waved yellow flag brings all the cars together 4 laps before the end, After restart Gary left all other drivers behind him again an he won the WORLD CUP 2010. A great result for the whole team!

Gary has to race 2 heats and a final to win the last points to get qualified for the World Final. It rained during these races and the setup for the first heat was not good and Gary Finished in the back.

The team changed the setup for the 2nd heat, wich was much better. Gary finished 5th, behind Wainmann, Keizer, Wobbes and Ron Kroonder.

Gary finished 5th in the final wich is enough to get qualified for the World Final next month in Coventry

A great weekend with winning the World Cup and the Proflex Cup!

We are all fans thankfull for their support!

Wobbes, Kroonder and Frankie Wainman are the most important opponents in the first heat. Unfortunately the setup was not good enough and finished 4th.

The team changed the setup before the 2nd heat. Gary was very fast because of the changes, and came through to the top 5. At the end Gary Finished 16th because of a flat tire.

At the end of the day Gary started the Final (Proflex Cup) and raced his best race of the day. With good Stockcarracing he took the lead and won the Proflex Cup.

The world cup will be on Sunday. The (un-official) starting grid:

Row 1: Louw Wobbes - Gary Castell
Row2: H.J. Ronitz - Dave Schaap
Row 3: Franky Wainmann - Tom Harris
Row 4: Ron Kroonder.
