Pictures and results Final races at Venray
Sunday

Points Championship at Raceway Venray

Gary started the last day with advantage of 17 points at Keijzer. Just stay close enough to him should be enough for the Points Championship at Raceway Venray this year.

Gary started the 1st heat from the back as usual, in the beginning he lost some time but won this time at the end of the race. In the last lap Keijzer was leading, Kroonder 2nd and Gary 3rd. Kroonder put Keijzer wide in the last corner but the went both wide. Un fortunately Gary was just to far away to pass them. Gary Finished 3rd. Kroonder 1st and Keijzer 2nd.

The 2nd heat started and Gary drove up until the 5th place when the race was stopped by the race control. One of the drivers smashed into the wall and needed a medical check up. At the restart Keijzer was just in front of Gary. Together they drove to the 1st places when Gary put him wide and took the lead. The next lap it was Keijzer who put Gary wide and took the lead. Gary lost several places and finished 5th.

Gary finished the 3r heat 5th again and was not happy at all with the car which slides into the corners.

The diference between Gary and Keijzer are still 10 points which should be enough when Gary would finish the final. During the final he managed it to race to Keijzer and put him wide again but next lap Keijzer tried to push Gary out of the race (his last change to pass Gary) but Gary knews what to do and finished 6th, just one car finished between Gary and Keijzer. Enough points for the Points Championship 2011 at Raceway Venray!

Results & Pictures Venray
Saturday

This is the 3rd and last weekend at raceway Venray this year. We had very good results the 2e meetings before at Raceway Venray. The total of cars and crowd is a little bit disappointing this weekend because of the Golden Helmet meeting at Speedway Emmen (Shale).

First there was some time for practice. Afterwards the team hat to change some things because Gary was not statisfied with the setup.

Gary won the 1st and the 2nd heat quite easely with no excitement during those two heats.

There was little more excitement during the 3rd heat, he lost some time with overtaking van den Bosch and finished 3rd begind Keijzer 1st and Wesley Schaap 2nd.

The final, last race of the day for the Stockcar F1. The car felt not that good like the heats before but Gary still finished 3rd. Great final win for Wesley Schaap. Keijzer finished 2nd.

Good results, Gary finished every heat into top three.

There will be some more crowd and cars on Sunday. Click at one of the pictures for more pictures!

Next Race at Raceway Venray

Our next race will be at Raceway Venray. During the weekend the F1, F2 and the Hotrods will race at the normal oval. The BRL and the ELMS will race at the ½ Mile oval. Team member Patrick Peeters will race in one of the BRL cars.

After the world cup weekend everyone has to start with 0 points for all championships, only the Raceway Venray Championship will end this weekend! Gary is 1st but Keijzer is very close to him in 2nd place.

It’s possible to practice on Saturday (only) Morning from 10:15AM on. The races will both days start at 13:00hrs end will end at 19:00 hrs and de F1 will race 3 heats and 1 Final each day.

Pictures & results World Final Weekend

The team left Baarlo on Thursday and arrived after midnight at the hotel in Daventry.

We left to Northampton on friday morning, and had some time for practice and find the best setup.

The first races took place at friday night, specially for the "overseas" drivers. Gary finished the first heat 2nd.

During the 2nd heat we tried a shale tyre and Gary finished 5th, not bad for the 1st time with this tyre, Unfortunately the car was not ready on time for the final, only the Gran National was left. Gary Finished 2nd during the Grand National. Steve Shaw retaines the golden roof for another year in a fantastic World Final. Gary presents the trophy's to the top three drivers!

The time trails took place on Saturday afternoon and Gary was 2nd. Therefore he could start from row 6, outside. The hughe coach with over 50 fans arrived also this afternoon.

During the 1st lap Gary was pushed into the fence hardly but could continue the world final from 8th position. There where 2 restarts and after the 2nd restart the gearbox broke down. No finish this time.

The team changed the gearbox but there was not enough time to join the Consilation and Gary missed the final.

Gary drove a good Grand National and made it up to 6th when he unfortunatly hit a driver who came back on the raceline after he spunn off. The front axle was brooken and could continue his race.

The team repaired the damages on sunday morning before Gary could start his 1st race.

During this 1st race Gary lost some places before the resart but still finished 9th and qualified himself for the final.

Gary started the final and saw in front of him almost 20 reds/superstars! He didn't make it into the top 10. The last race this weekend was the Grand National and Gary finished 9th! The team is statisfied with improvements during the weekend.

The RDF organised a BBQ after the last races and organised a party at the hotel on Sunday night. We would like to thank them for everything this weekend!

Gary wins his 2nd World Cup

De 2e World Cup is gewonnen!

The world Cup started around 1.15 PM.

Gary started from pole, next to him started Louw Wobbes which took immediately the lead after the start. Gary could follow him but didn't push him into the corners. Unfortunately Louw Wobbes had a DNF because of some technical failure. Gary took the lead before Ron Kroonder and won his 2nd World Cup. Ron Kroonder finished 2nd and Johan Catsburg 3rd. Great result!

A lot of fans waited for Gary when he came back at the teambus and the all had to congratulate Gary and the team with this amazing result!

The team had to prepare the car for the following heats and Final.

Gary won the 1st heat, he started as normal from last position and had some nice action with Wainmann Jnr who was on the lead when he had to pas him.

Gary didn't finish the 2nd heat after a small battle with Wainmann.

Only the final was left for this weekend. Gary started again good, came up to the 2nd place with approx. 7 laps to go. Keijzer was gone and Gary had to race as hard as he could to beat him. The final ended on an English way with a hugh last bender at Keijzer! Keijzer defended very good and won the final. Gary had a lot of damage!

We will thank all our sponsors and fans for their support this year!

World Cup Venray (results Saturday)

The most important for the Saturday was to take enough point to start from pole position on Sundays big race, the World Cup. There would be two heats and one Final, the Proflex Cup which Gar won last year.

The 1st heat Gary finished 2nd behind Keijzer but before all his nearest oponents!

The 2nd heat was even better, Gary won this heat and won a lot of more points for the start grid on Sunday!

The final race of the day would be the Final, the Proflex Cup which Gary won last year! He started from the back again and lost to much time when he was strugling with Wainmann and finished 3rd in the final, just behind Jessy de Bruijn and Keijzer. Good result, finished again before is nearest oponents and he can start the World Cup from Pole Position!

We would like to thanks the fans for their support this day! Click at one of the aboves pictures for some more pictures of the day!

Results & Pictures weekend Northampton

We arrived friday night at the hotel in Northampton. The morning after we started with a good English breakfast and had to wait until we could go to the track. In the morning we had some heavy rain which makes the raceway and pitlane looks like a swimmingpool. During the practice the track was fully wel but when the races had to start the raceline was dry.

_

Gary had to start the 1st heat at back like always. After a nice battle with Andy Smith he could pass him and he finished 7th, good for the final!

The final went not that good as the 1st heat and Gary finished outside of the top-10.

The team changed the setup after the final succesfully because Gary finished 5th in the Grand National. Wel done!

A statisfied day ended with a mini concert by a famous Dutch Singer, Sieneke. Afterwards we went to the hotel and had some drinks.

The sunday morning starts dry but when the races (F2 ) had to start, it started to rain. During the 1st race the sun starts shining and before the 1st race (F1) the track was dry.

Gary had to start the European Championship from the back but unfortunately he hit the fence and could't fininsh the European Championship. The towtruck brought the car back. The licence plate shows "PECH". This is the dutch word for "breakdown".... Ironic isn't it?

_

The normal heats, consilation, final en GN started after the European Championship. Gary didn't finish the 1st heat becaus of some damage at the back, the bumper hit the tire. Therefore Gary had to race the Consilation which he finishe 3rd!

Because of this 3rd place Gary could Join the final. He finished this final out of the top-10

Gary finished the last race, the Grand National, 9th.

We would like to thank the Board of the RDF fot their support!

Click at one of the pictures above for all the pictures.

European Championship Weekend Northampton

We will join the European Championship this weekend. The team will leave on friday and will arrive late PM at the Hotel, Northampton. On Saturday the race will start at 5PM and Sunday, the European Championship, at 12 noon.

Mainland European Champion!!

We left Baarlo at 7.30am, up to Lelystad. On the way to Lelystad it started to rain. Gary had to train during the rain but when the races started at 1 pm the track was dry. The team changed the setup from rain to a normal setup.

Gary started the first heat at the back and within a few laps he was already in 2nd place. 1st place driver, Johan Catsburg, was already far away but Gary passed him in the last few laps and won the 1st heat.

Another quick start in the 2nd heat and another heat win. Ron Kroonder was getting closer to Gary but never close enough to beat Gary.

Another heat win in the 3rd heat after a duel with Wobbes. It was Johan Catsburg again who was allready far away in 1st place but Gary could pass him in the last 5 laps.

Unfortunately Gary didn't finish the 4th heat because of a small (caused by a mechanic??) problem.....

At least the final, the Mainland European Championship. A Brilliant start brought Gary within 5 laps into a 1st place and won the European Championship for the 2nd time in 2 years.

This results in a statisfied driver & team. We would like to thank the fans for their support this day!

The next race will be in 3 weeks, 9 and 10th of July in Warneton, just over the French/Belgium border, only a few miles away from the Ferries and the UK. We hope to see there some English fans! This race is another Qualifier for the World Final, later this year in Northampton.

Click at one of the pictures above for some more pictures.

Next race, 19th June Lelystad

The next race will be this Sunday at the Midland Circuit in Lelystad.

This would be another qualifier for the World Final, later this year at Northampton and there is one big final, the European Mainland Championship. Only Stockcar F1 anf F2 will join the races this weekend! The races will start at 1 PM. There is a possibility for practice between 10 AM and 12 noon.

Results and pictures day 2 at Raceway Venray

Gary wins the Final again

Day 2 at Raceway Venray, another briliant day for Gary and the team! Gary won the 1st heat without any problems.

Gary started the 2nd heat very good but lost some place after a small hit and had lost to much time to beat Louw Wobbes who won the 2nd heat. Gary finished 2nd, not a bad result!

The mechanics had to change the gearbox between the 2nd heat and the final. A very good performance by the mechanics because Gary was in time to start the final, he had to win the final for his mechanics..... which he did, again! This win was that easy like the 1st heat. It was a great final with some nice action between Danny Smidt, Ron Kroonder and Gary.

_

There was some time left for the Grand National after the finals. Gary took the handycap and started at the 1st row, with a lap down. Gary hoped at a waved yellow flag situation but this never happened during the Grand National. Gary finished 10th this Grand National.

This great weekend finished at Chrissies bar.

Click at one of the picture for some more pictures.

Results and pictures day 1 at Raceway Venray

Gary wins the Final

Finaly, the 1st races at Raceway Venray this year. Gary had to race without any kind of practice on Saturday. Gary was very fast during the whole day, he finished the 1st heat as 4th but was definately the fastest.

_

Gary started the 2nd heat very good, he was passed al the red tops in the 1st few laps but Gary hit the fence unfortunately and lost a lot of places. Gary finished 6th.

The 3rd race of the day, the final! Gary passed al the red top in the beginning laps, up to the 2nd place. In the final 3 laps he passed Paul Hermkens and won the Final!

The stockcars could race an extra race, 12 laps because there was some time left during the whole day. Gary was again the fastest and finished 2nd just behind the race winner Danny Smidt.

Great results during the day!

Click at one of the picture for some more pictures.

Pictures and results UK Open

We left thursday afternoon up to Hemel Hempsted, to the 1st hotel. We went to Northampton on Friday morning for some training sessions

_

Gary drove a lot of sessions, tested several setups untill the rear axle was broken. The team repaired the axle but unfortunately the axle was broken again after 3 laps! The team prepared another axle for the races on Saturday and Sunday.

We went to the hotel in Woodhall Spa on Saturday morning. Afterwards we went to Skegness and Gary had to start in the 1st heat. He could follow FWJ and finished 8th. Herewith Gary was qualified for the final. Gary finished 13th in the final. The last race of the day should be the Grand National but Gary didn't start this one because there where 60 stockcars, only 34 could start the Grand National.

Everyone had to race 2 heats on Sunday, the 34 best drivers could start in the UK-Open Final. Gary finished 9th in the 1st heat and 18th in the 2nd heat. These results where good enough to get qualified for the Final, the UK-Open.

We went to the hotel in Maidstone after the races. We ended the weekend with a few beers and a Pizza.

Xeramic Cup Lelystad 17th April

Finally the Tarmac Season has started at the mainland. The 1st meeting was a Qualifier for the World Final and a Cup Final, The Xeramic Cup.

We had to handle all day long with brake problems and this makes it hader to find a good setup for the new tyres and the rebuild stockcar.

We finished the 1st heat as 4th, heat 2 as 6th and heat 3 as 13th. Every heat we had brake problems, broken discs. After a short "meeting" the mecanics found a good setup and Gary finished 3rd in the final, the Xeramic Cup. Unfortunately again with broken discs.

Gary and the team are very statisfied with these results and the improvements during the day!
